This semester, instructors don’t have to worry about learning new ways to interact with Illinois Compass 2g. Time-tested features like student preview, plagiarism detection, and the test access log remain the same.

Student preview takes the guesswork out of wondering what your course looks like to your students. Upload new content or make edits to course structure and content. Then switch over to student preview to see what your students see. Switch back to instructor mode to make further changes.

Illinois Compass 2g helps instructors detect plagiarism. Use SafeAssign when creating assignments to catch plagiarism early on. SafeAssign is turned off by default, so use it only when you want to.

The test access log provides instructors with a detailed list of how students behave while taking an online test. These data help you encourage honest test-taking activities online.
