Set Password Recovery Options Before Winter Break
Students, faculty, and staff who are leaving campus for Winter Break should make sure that they have chosen a password recovery option in the new password system available at go.illinois.edu/password.
If you have not chosen a password recovery option and need to reset your password, you will need to visit the Technology Services Help Desk in person in order to reset your password. This obviously could be problematic if you are off-campus for Winter Break and need to reset your password.
The new password system allows for reseting passwords by either text message, a voice call to a phone number, or by sending a password reset code to a non-University email address.
Simply log in at go.illinois.edu/password with your current NetID and password to set your password recovery option.
