Why to use this service

The Endpoint Backup service automatically protects endpoint data with no user intervention required and offers easy recovery of lost files.   Customers can choose to run incremental or differential backups and select individual files or folders to backup.   The service also offers the ability to pause backups on low battery, during certain time periods, or on certain networks.

$65.50 per user.

How to use this service

Backups are run through the client installed application. Restores can be done through the client or through the web-interface.

Quotas and usage restrictions

Limited to 5 devices per user, unlimited storage

Sensitive data considerations

The CrashPlan vendor (Code42) has signed a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with the University to ensure the protection of any Protected Health Information (PHI) that may be backed up through the service. This service is approved for the backup of HIPAA protected data.
