Quotas and usage restrictions |
Mailboxes on the Exchange system have auto growing quotas that are calculated and adjusted nightly. The quotas are high enough that they should not be reached by any normal operations and are only in place as a safety measure to protect the system. Internal messages (sent from one Exchange user to another Exchange user) must be less than 100MB in size. External messages (sent to or from a different email system) must be less than 65MB in size. This latter quota is controlled by the Email Relay service. |
