Attend Microsoft Teams Day

A big change is coming to the University of Illinois starting May 17. The university will transition from Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams as the university’s primary communication and collaboration tool. Phone functionality is a key component of that transition. The IT community wants to make sure you are ready for the change with Microsoft Teams Day.

    • WHAT: Microsoft Teams Day
    • WHEN: Friday, February 17, 10 am-2 pm
    • WHERE: Huff Hall, Rooms 112 and 114
    • WHO: IT Pros, Faculty, Staff, and Graduate Students

During Microsoft Teams Day you can walk around the Hardware Showcase in Huff Hall Room 114 to get a firsthand look at some of the Teams-compatible equipment such as phones, headsets, speakerphones, and cameras. The Microsoft Teams Transition Project is a cross-campus effort, years in the making. For a seamless transition this May, departments across campus are encouraged to place equipment orders by February 22, to ensure products can be delivered on time. You can read more about the project timeline on the Technology Services website. We hope to see you at Microsoft Teams Day!
