We provide a set of standard services for data center co-location available at no charge to eligible units at Illinois. Additional (non-standard) services may be offered for a fee. Non-eligible units (not eligible for campus funded services) are permitted to purchase services.

The following services are provided/available (which one?) for equipment hosted in a shared facility:

• Annual review and planning
• Uninterrupted power supplies
• Campus networking
• Standard racks
• Hardware installation assistance
• Managed access, physical security, campus-provided standard video surveillance
• Fire detection and suppression
• Temperature-controlled environment
• Change control and incident management
• Data center infrastructure
• Generators at ACB and DCL locations
  • All data center infrastructure components (power, cooling, fire suppression) are covered by a current warranty and/or support contract.
